Julia Ivanova was born on February 5, 1944 in the evacuation.
Since 1957 he has been living in Leningrad. Studied at the studio Solomon Rossini (1968-1970). Graduated from the Higher Industrial Art School Vera Mukhina (1977).
A participant of exhibitions since 1978. Exhibited with TEII (1983-1989).
Member of the Artists' Union since 1988.
Participant of international exhibitions in the U.S. (1989), France (1989), Finland (1990), Italy (1991), Germany (1997).
Yulia Ivanova works are in the State Russian Museum, the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Museum of Modern Art (Kaliningrad), in the collections of modern art "Manege", and the Humanities Foundation, "Free Culture" (St. Petersburg) and in private collections in Russia, USA, France, Germany, Italy and Finland.
